Mobile Thermographic Cameras with an IR Resolution of 3.1 Megapixels
(PresseBox) (Dresden, )For the first time, InfraTec presents mobile thermographic microbolometer cameras with a detector format of (1,024 x 768) IR pixels and therefore a 2.5 times higher resolution than previous high-class models with the VarioCAM® HD, which is manufactured by the German manufacturer Jenoptik.
This is the first application of the continuously operating optomechanical MicroScan feature for the acquisition of dynamic thermal image sequences with a resolution of (2,048 x 1,536) IR pixels. Crystal-clear thermal images can be captured in connection with the outstanding thermal resolution and high-luminosity lenses. Large test objects can be investigated thermographically with a degree of efficiency which has never been reached before.
The new VarioCAM® HD by Jenoptik follows the deep-seated Jena lens tradition of always striving for highest perfection and quality. Numerous features, such as a high-luminosity digital 8 Megapixel camera, HD video camera or the GPS sensor, can be linked with each other. An absolute novelty in the field of portable thermographic systems is the integrated laser rangefinder.
The extensive assortment of lenses and optics rounds out the range of possible test objects from micro-thermography to telephoto applications for objects in large distances. In accordance with Jenoptik's quality guidelines, the optics of the VarioCAM® HD camera series are designed for uncompromising full lenses with an f-number of 1.0, highest transmission quality and lowest distortion.
